Hop Talk #12: Finback Fiesta!
I should have taken a picture of where we recorded this episode, because it was literally a back corner way past the fermentation tanks. Finback is a pretty huge space (advantage to being kinda in the middle of nowhere I suppose), so there are plenty of nooks and crannies to hide in and record a podcast!
I consider Finback one of my favorite breweries in NYC, and my favorite local producer of stouts (their most recent one Latte was fantastic). I definitely have a personal connection and thus a bias for this brewery, but I think my opinions are fairly justified. I stayed long after recording the episode to partake in their anniversary celebrations with many of my friends, most of which I had met at or through Finback. You can bet I’ll be at the next anniversary!
I haven’t had as many beer photos for the last few episodes, but I did take home some of Finback’s Four Year brew, so here it is! It was nice changing things up and doing an on-location episode, and I hope to do some more in the future. That’s it for now, see you next week!
